AFP-NH: Digital Activist Training – Weeks 3 – 6
Want to make a bigger impact online? Join AFP-NH and New Hampshire’s own Jon DiPietro for an in-depth, six-week Digital Activism Training designed to help you become a more effective advocate in today’s digital world. Whether you’re new to online engagement or looking to sharpen your skills, Jon will walk participants through the tools, strategies, and best practices that can help your message reach more people and drive real results.
Throughout the six-week program, you’ll learn the ins and outs of digital activism. From creating compelling content and building an online audience to understanding social media algorithms, digital storytelling, and effective grassroots engagement. This hands on training is perfect for anyone who wants to grow their influence, connect with others, and become a stronger voice for the issues they care about.

AFP-NH’s Energy 101
Join AFP-NH for a discussion on why Granite State families and businesses face some of the highest energy costs in New England. We’ll examine the real reasons behind rising electricity rates, heating costs, and fuel prices: including the impacts of state and federal regulations, renewable energy mandates, permitting delays, limited infrastructure, and restrictions on reliable energy sources.
Learn how NH’s energy system actually operates. From power generation and transmission to rate-setting by regulators; and why top-down policies often drive up costs while threatening reliability. Our panel will focus on practical solutions the New Hampshire Legislature can implement right now: cutting red tape on infrastructure projects, reforming mandates that increase consumer costs, promoting all-of-the-above energy development, increasing competition, and prioritizing affordability and reliability over unrealistic climate targets.
This event will equip you with the knowledge to hold lawmakers accountable and advocate for policies that put NH families and employers first. Q&A session at the end of the panel.

NH 250: Goodbye Governor, Hello Free NH!
New Hampshire was first in freedom then, and first in freedom now.
On August 23, 1775, Royal Governor John Wentworth fled Portsmouth, and Royal rule in New Hampshire came to an end: clearing the way for the Granite State’s independent government just months later.
Join us to commemorate this pivotal moment in NH history! The evening will feature an inspiring panel presentation on the 250th anniversaries of both New Hampshire and America’s independence and exploring what liberty truly means today.

Thank Governor Ayotte for Vetoing HB 451- The Paint Tax
HB 451 was legislation to create a paint tax on every can of paint sold in NH. Instead of letting families decide how to handle leftover paint, it forces everyone to pay more at the register to fund a new government-mandated program.
At a time when costs are already high, the last thing Granite Staters need is another tax disguised as a fee.

Say NO to HB 1602: Hidden Battery Tax
This bill forces battery companies into a government-run “stewardship” program and makes them cover all the costs. Those costs don’t disappear, they get passed straight to us through higher prices on batteries, toys, tools, flashlights, and countless other products we buy every day.
Send a personal appeal urging House Finance Committee members to reject the battery tax, HB 1602! This bill is a tax disguised as a “stewardship program” that will, if passed, increase prices for batteries and everyday products, adding unnecessary costs to families already facing high prices.

On January 7, 2026, the New Hampshire Senate delivered a major win for families by passing Senate Bill 101 with a successful Ought to Pass motion, advancing open enrollment so parents can choose any public school in the state for their child, free from zip code restrictions or arbitrary district lines. Your signature joins thousands of Granite State parents, families, and activists in celebrating this step toward parental empowerment, greater equity in education, and stronger public schools for every child. Support HB 1268 – The Home Education Freedom Act!
This common-sense bill removes outdated, intrusive requirements that force homeschooling parents to jump through unnecessary hoops: mandatory notifications just to start homeschooling, compulsory annual assessments, and extra paperwork that treats caring parents like they need government permission to teach their own children.
Urge Representatives to support HB 1268, the “Home Education Freedom Act.” It highlights how the bill removes burdensome notification, assessment, and paperwork requirements for homeschooling families, restores parental authority, and reduces unnecessary government involvement while still allowing optional participation in public school programs or assessments.
