Real Kids, Real Choices: EFAs in NH
Join Americans for Prosperity New Hampshire for a timely refresher on Education Freedom Accounts as families prepare for the new school year.
Hear directly from students who used EFAs to leave public school and choose learning environments that better fit their children’s needs: whether private schools, homeschooling, or other options. These students will share how the program has opened real doors for them and why Educational Freedom Accounts remain essential in the Granite state.
As November approaches, the strongest way to safeguard these opportunities is to support candidates committed to defending Education Freedom Accounts and parental rights. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave equipped to support educational freedom across the Granite State.

Pints & Policy: Who’s Watching You?
Your license plate gets photographed on the way to work. A camera on Main Street logs the car, the time, and the direction you were headed, and that record lands in a database you will never see. Your phone reports its location hundreds of times a day, and the companies collecting that data can sell it to agencies that would need a warrant to ask you for it directly. Facial recognition software gets cheaper and more accurate every year, and much of it was trained on photos scraped off the open internet, including yours.
New Hampshire voters put a right to privacy in the state constitution in 2018. Whether that means anything in practice depends on what the legislature does next.
Join AFP-New Hampshire for a conversation about how this technology actually works, what government can and cannot do with the data it collects, and which bills in Concord would draw real lines around it. Bring your questions.

Thank Governor Ayotte for Vetoing HB 451- The Paint Tax
HB 451 was legislation to create a paint tax on every can of paint sold in NH. Instead of letting families decide how to handle leftover paint, it forces everyone to pay more at the register to fund a new government-mandated program.
At a time when costs are already high, the last thing Granite Staters need is another tax disguised as a fee.

Say NO to HB 1602: Hidden Battery Tax
This bill forces battery companies into a government-run “stewardship” program and makes them cover all the costs. Those costs don’t disappear, they get passed straight to us through higher prices on batteries, toys, tools, flashlights, and countless other products we buy every day.
Send a personal appeal urging House Finance Committee members to reject the battery tax, HB 1602! This bill is a tax disguised as a “stewardship program” that will, if passed, increase prices for batteries and everyday products, adding unnecessary costs to families already facing high prices.

On January 7, 2026, the New Hampshire Senate delivered a major win for families by passing Senate Bill 101 with a successful Ought to Pass motion, advancing open enrollment so parents can choose any public school in the state for their child, free from zip code restrictions or arbitrary district lines. Support HB 1268 – The Home Education Freedom Act!
This common-sense bill removes outdated, intrusive requirements that force homeschooling parents to jump through unnecessary hoops: mandatory notifications just to start homeschooling, compulsory annual assessments, and extra paperwork that treats caring parents like they need government permission to teach their own children.
Urge Representatives to support HB 1268, the “Home Education Freedom Act.” It highlights how the bill removes burdensome notification, assessment, and paperwork requirements for homeschooling families, restores parental authority, and reduces unnecessary government involvement while still allowing optional participation in public school programs or assessments.
